4108-A2 connected to Internet anyone know what they are doing?
So I have seen a lot of connections like this and this just happens to be the one that has the most connection from different ports? I removed the first part of the IP for privacy reasons. Why is the NVR not picking up and posting an Alert? I also have turned off Ping in the NVR. This person just tr...

Re: camera not connecting
Yeah there are some even more costly then the ones that are a couple hundred dollars. They do loads more testing and would really be something people use in a Low Voltage or CCTV installation business. So now I am confused. So it is a 4416E-AI NVR then. With 16port POE on the back? If it is that the...

Re: IP5M-B1186EW won't hard reset & can't delete from NV4108E
Glad you hear you got it sorted. If you are connecting other cameras that don't have same Password, You can do a password change on the NVR, even to the same password you are using already, after making the change it will ask if you want to change the connected devices if you yes/ok then all the oth...

Click the pencil and change password to admin. Looks like you are working with POE camera connected to port. Only cameras that can be deleted are ones not on port. Only way to remove ported cameras is unplug camera. Normally reset camera will default to admin admin. If the camera is Amcrest or Dahua...

Re: Why is my NVRs reverting back to DST?
After doing a Factory Reset on my 5232E-16P NVR everything is working as expected now. it is strange that it wasn't acting this way until after the time change. Still have them both off DST and NTP. My guess is that because the NVR is my main NVR where all other connections go for a all in 1 locatio...

Re: camera not connecting
Ok so at first thought it could be an issue with the NVR, However with the model you said you own there is no POE on that NVR so what POE switch are you using to power your camera? From your last reply this kind of now sounds like it is an issue with the Communication part of that dead port. Seeing ...

Re: AMDV5232-13 DVR Hard Drive Compatibility
Looking up the datasheet for the model this DVR was designed from. This is the info from that datasheet.
2 SATA ports, up to 16TB capacity for each disk. The maximum HDD, capacity varies with environment temperature.

Re: AMDV5232-13 DVR Hard Drive Compatibility
Back in the day when I bought my NEW Amcrest 8mp AI DVR everything on the web for me only offered 15fps so I thought that was for all cameras. When I bought it on the box that at the time said 15fps for 8mp and had 30fps for others like 2mp and 3mp. So yeah kind of had me upset because I could have ...

A2 model add back Lock out amount
So there is an area where you can choose to get notified when there is an illegal login, Great, I don't like that the magic number is 10. I like to also change the lockout time like I can on my other recorders to the max time if you get locked out.. Please add it back to the A2 Also would like to ha...

Re: Playback jump by 1 hour
You might want to look at a Different FW. If I am looking at the site right it looks like the one I am using will work for your NVR as well. Seeing mine on the site don't say it is for 5232E it has same info in it as your besides mine is 22 where if you are using the one that is showing for just the...
