Re: IP8M-2796EB-AI how can i setup an area when motion is detected the white light turns on?

On mine under the event you are working on in my case a Tripwire, under the light and siren area I have a Period option. In mine I have it setup to also not come on in the day time. while it isn't perfect it suits my needs... Oddly when I click it the screen for my camera goes black but there is a c...

Re: Can't View Cameras on Surveillance Pro

I wrote something that I thought OK that is just TMI lol. So to keep it simple, I have 2 local locations and 2 remote locations that I have devices and then I have more then to many cameras DVR/NVRs here that I use for security and testing reasons. I have gifted a few away along the way. *4108-HS, 2...

Re: DVR won't boot with SATA cable plugged in. AMDV10818

Ok. Yes testing a new power supply would be best bet. Some systems for cameras come with a power adaptor with 4 or 8 pigtail.. However if your camera power supply is rated for same or more then the DVR I would unplug the cameras and use that one to test the DVR with HDD installed to make sure it is ...

Re: Can't View Cameras on Surveillance Pro

So for me I have 32ch 16P POE NVR, 16ch with 16 port POE, 16ch POE NVR with 8ch ports and others like 4108E with 8 ports and 4108-HS and many more. So when i go to do a Factory Reset on a NVR that don't have my cameras connected to I take a picture of how I have my cameras setup in the grid so i kno...

Re: Viewing Setup Screens on Monitor

On the GUI to get to the Menus Right click the screen anywhere.. Then there is main menu and other options. If you setup a Pattern and have to log in after every 10 min of no mouse movement then put in the pattern or password. Then the menu comes up.

Re: DVR won't boot with SATA cable plugged in. AMDV10818

Anything could be wrong... However it is easier to find a 12v power supply with the rated output for the DVR.. Also if you are using a single power supply for your cameras and your DVR that shouldn't happen. While I do have a setup with 2 analog cameras and the rest of the connected Cameras are IP c...

Re: AMDV108116-s3 has power, won't start, new hdd

Here is a starting place. It can be hard at times finding one that is really 5amps now days. Keep in mind that finding one for 5 ish most likely would be a fake and would have much less then 5amp output. I my self have bought a few to find they are less then marked output of about 3.6amps and even s...

Re: DVR won't boot with SATA cable plugged in. AMDV10818

1 last thing to keep in mind, When you are looking at the PSU of any other device keep in mind that normally the Center is + but there are some people out there that like to be different and might have the power on the outside. So when looking at the AMPS also make sure that it says the Center is + ...

Re: DVR won't boot with SATA cable plugged in. AMDV10818

Well normally a power supply for the camera is the same for the DVR a 2 amp power supply for 4 cameras. However it could be one with 8 cameras then it could be 2 power supplies and or 1 5amp power supply. So if you were to look at the PSU for the DVR and one for the cameras, If they are same rated 2...
