Re: NV4108E install
Ok this sounds like something one of my Pro line AI cameras is doing to me that I have yet to fix it lol.. First you will want to move that camera if powered by 12v to a none POE port of a Switch or even your router. Bear with me here.. If you were to get a none POE mini switch or hub would be perfe...

Re: Email That Will Work With IP5M-B1276EW-AI & IP5M-T1277EW-AI
So first are you looking for storage retention? or you looking to be notified for an event? For storage retention I would look at setting up an FTP, Could be on or offsite.. On site is easier. If you are looking for Notice of an event, I would then setup your Amcrest app for Push notices. Setup for ...

Re: Issue with camera names saving in NV4232-EI NVR
Yes, For me most of the cameras had names either entered by the brand or because I entered them. The Alibi brand is odd ball for me really because on one of them I have over 8 areas where you can add in different things, At the time I set up the cameras I had my name that I also use as a water mark ...

Re: Issue with camera names saving in NV4232-EI NVR
Hello and Welcome to the Forum.. I can't say 100%, However if I had to guess the issue is the Camera not the NVR.. Main issue with NVRs is that when you make a change in the NVRs settings this info is then transmitted to the camera. If the camera don't like or understand the data being transmitted t...

Re: NV5232E-16P Firmware Update
The last update for me changed the way the Zero Channels works. More then just a Tour monitor. If you don't use dual monitor then not sure what the update would do. Did you update your machine? Or did you leave the 2021 fw on it? There is no lose of 3rd party cameras. Only issue I have ever had with...

Re: Bricked IP5M?
Sounds like bad camera, IT does happen, did it look like it was a return? Maybe someone bought it and used CCA cable and fried it. Then returned said nothing was wrong so Amazon packed as new. Or maybe even opened it and last owner repacked it so it looked new? Either way sounds dead. Not sure where...

Bought new or used? Hear anything with camera once given power. If model with IRC you should hear it click on power up

Re: Be careful if you do repairs,
By the way it's same size as the cap next to pin 1 of the Transformer. Zooming in to see might be easier then seeing the tilted cap itself.
Pin 1 if don't know is above u10 silkscreen marking.

Be careful if you do repairs,
 In the picture below had to repair one of my 4mp zoom Ai cameras. Seeing the transformer was between 2 connectors and sensor for camera is almost directly on other side I had to use soldering iron to remove it, in dragging the solder on pins it caught a very small cap. This is smaller then th...

Re: Centralized Featureset for software
Hello and Welcome to the Forum, Yes ASP is an older software that Amcrest was nice enough to supply for free to the owners of the Amcrest devices. I say this because having many different brands of cameras I can tell you there are only a few that have offered Desktop Camera Management software. Ther...
