Re: Bricked IP5M?

Sounds like bad camera, IT does happen, did it look like it was a return? Maybe someone bought it and used CCA cable and fried it. Then returned said nothing was wrong so Amazon packed as new. Or maybe even opened it and last owner repacked it so it looked new? Either way sounds dead. Not sure where...

Re: Be careful if you do repairs,

By the way it's same size as the cap next to pin 1 of the Transformer. Zooming in to see might be easier then seeing the tilted cap itself.

Pin 1 if don't know is above u10 silkscreen marking.

Be careful if you do repairs,

 In the picture below had to repair one of my 4mp zoom Ai cameras. Re: Centralized Featureset for software

Hello and Welcome to the Forum, Yes ASP is an older software that Amcrest was nice enough to supply for free to the owners of the Amcrest devices. Re: IP2M-851W wifi camera used as POE camera?

You would want to look for a 12v poe splitter. This will take your poe cable split out ethernet and convert 48/52v down to 12v that is plugged into your normal 12v power plug on camera. Short ethernet cord then plugs ethernet from splitter to camera completes system.

Re: Can I power the AD410 via USB?

Hello and Welcome to the Forum. Yes you can power the doorbell camera on a 2amp 5v power supply. Same type that you would use with the Amcrest 841, 941, 1051 type indoor cameras. Keep in mind that doing so will no short out the pins like it normally would when you have it connected using a Transform...
