Re: DVR won't boot with SATA cable plugged in. AMDV10818
1 last thing to keep in mind, When you are looking at the PSU of any other device keep in mind that normally the Center is + but there are some people out there that like to be different and might have the power on the outside. So when looking at the AMPS also make sure that it says the Center is + ...

Re: DVR won't boot with SATA cable plugged in. AMDV10818
Well normally a power supply for the camera is the same for the DVR a 2 amp power supply for 4 cameras. However it could be one with 8 cameras then it could be 2 power supplies and or 1 5amp power supply. So if you were to look at the PSU for the DVR and one for the cameras, If they are same rated 2...

Re: DVR won't boot with SATA cable plugged in. AMDV10818
1 Last thing to remember if you don't want to use B&H, If you were to find a power supply form some other place like Ebay, It might be that they are selling one that has specs that don't support the facts. That is why I offered B&H as a source because I know they sell for CCTV and specs are ...

Re: DVR won't boot with SATA cable plugged in. AMDV10818
it looks like the only 12v power supply they have in stock is one with 4 pig tail for older cameras. Normally ones like that could work however that one is only 1.5amps and I am sure the one you will need is a 2amp supply. So that means you would want to look for a different source.. So that brings ...

Re: Can't View Cameras on Surveillance Pro
Keep in mind that I don't recommend doing an Export also found in that window if your picture under imp/exp. However if your system is having issues and you export with issues when you import that data back the system may return with same issues..

Re: How to connect to an already registered device??
So a few things. One seeing you are not the home owner and or the owner of the DVR/NVR it would be a bad Idea to give anyone that is a renter access to the Recorder. That is the whole reason to own a Security Camera system is for the Security of the home owner and owner of the device. However with t...

Re: API for subscribing to events not returning anything
Interesting. Well I will admit I don't normally use CGI on my V3 and out of the first 6 I tried returned an error. I didn't check after finding that getting motion detect URL worked. Wonder if it also works for you? changing the IP to meet your needs. http://10.0.0.175/cgi-bin/configManager.cgi?acti...
