Re: Power faiilure, then no cameras

Are you able to cut power to them one by one? It may be that they came back in the wrong order compared to your router. Just thing that maybe they tried for wifi signal but router wasn't ready, so they have a wrong IP. Were the IPs reserved in your router, based on each camera's MAC address? With th...

Re: DDNS assigned wrong IP to no-ip also mess up PTZ target points

What did you do with the old router?
I once gave an old router away, it never got reset, and it would reconcile my IP as at its new home, so I couldn't access my cameras until I got the person to disable ddns.

Re: How to tell if an IP2M-852 is powered on?

I know that this is a very old thread but, if anyone searches for this camera model, I wanted to say that of the two I received neither seemed to power up, or were discoverable by IP Config.

I've got that same camera and a Synology NAS. I completely gave up on their Surveillance program and now just set each camera and store triggered events to the NAS and access every device when needed.

Re: IP2M-841/IPM-721/IPM-HX1 (Non POE Models) Firmware Release

I got the email today announcing this new firmware. Downloaded and attempted to flash, but twice got error stating that file was bad, then wanted to ask if I wanted to reboot. Did so but many of the settings were missing, so tried importing my settings and it just sat there waiting for camera to res...

Re: Adjusting settings for 841 detection

Sorry it took so long to reply, had password issues while travelling.
I've made the adjustments, and no difference. I have since bought a Synology NAS and am now struggling with getting the settings right in that.

Adjusting settings for 841 detection

I've played around with this settings but its trial and error. I'd like to have this camera run day and night and detect any intruder, email me, and save video. What is working is the email and video being stored (currently on SD card, but will be to a NAS), but I get a false detection at the switch...

Applied this yesterday to my 841. It seems to have fixed the blank screen when setting up detection areas, and, when testing ftp, it said it was successful.

An update to my earlier post. FTP is back to not working. I'm inclined to just buy a NAS and be done with trying.
