Re: PTZ Function - postionABS
Sorry to bring up my old thread, but is there any way that the Developers can add the ability to set where 0 degrees (north) is? I found in the overlay section were you can set where north is for the OSD, but because the compass is upside down, that is useless as well. Really would like to see the a...

Amcrest CGI Commands
Hello, I came across this document, https://s3.amazonaws.com/amcrest-files/AMCREST_CGI_SDK_API.pdf and for most of what I have tried, it seems to work ok. There is one command I am interested in and can't seem to get anything but "ERROR" in response. The command is under the PTZ section. T...

Re: Constant camera settings reversion?
Yeah our major player here is spectrum, cable sucks in upload... I work for the local fiber ISP and was able to set up a wireless PTP link to one of our POPs. That’s how I get my speed...

Re: Constant camera settings reversion?
Yup, and as soon as I deleted the camera from the cloud account the settings went right back to where I set them. Thanks again!

Re: Constant camera settings reversion?
Mupimohan - That actually makes sense. I seem to recall that when I joined it to the cloud, this all started. I feel the restrications are more due to the file size the video takes up on their servers but maybe both are the reason. I have 300/300 so bandwidth is not an issue on my end... Thanks for ...

Re: PTZ Function - postionABS
I get that. Is it possible to set where zero is? I really hate to compare with other manufactures, but I have been able to set others to where north is and that worked very well. As far as the horizontal setting, is there a reason the devs thought it was a good idea to make it go counter clock wise ...

Re: Constant camera settings reversion?
I am seeing this happen with my ip2m-853ew. Not sure if it has to do with using the iOS app after setting this settings, but every time I go back to the computer and use IE, settings are reverted back to 10, 3 and 1024 max bitrate...

PTZ Function - postionABS
Hello, I like and want to use the postionABS function, but is there something I am missing or a setting that needs to be corrected? When I enter 0 in the Horizontal Angle, it points to north and when I enter 1800 it points to south however, when I enter 900 it should point east but it points west an...

Web Browser Login Session Time
Hello, Is there a way to customize the login session time when using a web browser? I get really annoyed having the browser open and even when I am active in the window making changes and input and it pops up a message saying, "Authorize failed, Please login again!" because of a hard set s...
