Re: Is Mac Amcrest Surveillance Pro 2 abandonware?
Apparently, your post has been abandoned as well. I just posted yet another complaint that there's no workable software for the Mac Mini with Apple silicon. I expect <crickets> as well.

Software still does not work on a Mac Mini M2.
Four months ago I posted here that the Surveillance Pro software does not run on a Mac Mini M2. As of this posting, it still doesn't. Mac users are not in the minority anymore. Please support us with a workable product. So... I have to buy an HDMI switch and another mouse and keyboard so that I can ...

Re: PSP and wireless IP camera
No, actually, no matter if it was single view or multi, the video was a small square and did not fill either the screen (in single view) or its grid on multi-view. However... I went out in the car away from wifi range, and it worked as it should. I do not know what that artifact was, but I got rid o...

PSP and wireless IP camera
I just added an indoor wireless camera to watch over the front door through a window. The video from it is perfect on the NVR and on the PC using Surveillance Pro and View Pro. However, when using P2P on my phone, the new camera's video is the size of a postage stamp but the other wired POE cameras ...

Re: Fickle P2P
In my case, though, P2P was the only reliable setup. I guess each installation is different. I don't need speed -- I just want to see what's going on while I'm not there. Tnx, tho.

DDNS connects, cameras just spinning donut
I've got P2P working fine on my Android phone, but I would like to have a way to use a Macbook to view the system remotely. When I use DDNS on my Windows PC, the app comes up, but all cameras just display a spinning donut. Might it work better on a Mac? Port forwarding does the same thing, if it con...

It's ok. I *did* mention that I did not know the password in my original post.

Re: Cannot reset IP4M-1026EW
<< addendum >> I found where those videos are and I looked at the reset procedure for the 1025. This one, the whole front piece just unscrews and reveals the motherboard. So now I know how to short those two pins together to do a reset. I'll do it at a later time as I don't need this camera any long...

Re: Cannot reset IP4M-1026EW
One of the not so easy cameras to reset. This may also help. https://support.amcrest.com/hc/en-us/articles/360018941132-How-To-Perform-A-Factory-Reset-IP4M-1026E- Dudes! Sorry, I'm 67 but it just slipped out. Due to your help, I got both cameras reset and talking to the NVR. I won't even mention (j...
