iOS app 'night" failing but PC app works ok
Unaccountably, using iOS Amcrest View Pro I cannot enable day, night, or auto on my IP2M-852W but the PC's "IP Config" tools works fine on same camera. There seems to be no version number on the iOS app nor a version date. The PC windows one is (v) 3.20.10 the password is correct on the iP...

Re: IP2M-852B lost WiFi & reset does not work
I have a similar problem with same camera. It was working fine hardwired to an 8 port switch. I decided to use it as a critter cam and I put in in the back yard on a 5 port hub that had other cameras. An uplink from the hub went to the original 8 port switch. it will not work hardwired. It blinks gr...

Re: Extending a 2nd monitor and mouse
Table of cat7 gauge here Looks like AWG 22 gauge is recommended for power over ethernet. Since your USB mouse requires power to operate it may not be getting enough with, for example, 26 AWG CAT 7. You might also try a USB powered hub at the mouse end of the cable. Lemme know if the powered hub works.

Re: Anyone with experience with Netgear routers and IP3M-943 cameras?
Your iPhone may be on 5ghz but the camera can only be on 2.4 which does not make for a good signal comparison. There is a lot more interference at 2.4 than 5 IMHO. 5gh works best at my location but you might disable 5ghz to force iPhone to 2.4 There is a discussion about wifi problems at netgear her...

Netgear or IP8M: POE is weak
Tried using Netgear ProSafe 8 port w/4 PoE but was unable to power IP8M-2496 PoE camera at a 27 meter length. 15 meter worked fine. At 27 meters if I connected a 12v power adapter and then removed it (the power adapter) the camera was able to run ok. Just cannot power it on at that length. Not sure ...

Re: infared not working
My IPM-723 lost IR after a year of operation. I bought a cheap pair of 12v IR illuminators . Didn't want 2 but it was cheaper to get 2 then one. This actually worked out pretty good as I discovered I was no longer getting constant alarms from insects attracted to the built in IR of the camera. Somet...

Re: login return time is up
Not familiar with your system but have seen that problem. I did google your NV4116 and read up on it. I will have to say that your problem is similar to what I went through when I put together a small camera system using an ECS LIVA-X "intel small box" with blue iris, Amcrest and a few cam...

Re: ip3m-hx2 cameras stop responding.
Sound like one of the cameras has problems. Could be a surge. I had one that needed to be unplugged and putting it on battery backup worked for me. It was a PITA to get in the attic and router all the power to an APS but I am glad I did. Surge protector might help avoid the rewiring.

Re: IP3M-943 no longer connects to WiFi
You need to make the ip address of the camera permanent. That is done in the router. I posted how to do that on an At&t router which might be helpful.

Re: IP2m 841 no longer connects
Probably got assigned a different IP address after a router reset. Search for its name in your wifi's modem device list and use the IP address that is listed then, after it reconnects, make that ip address permanent so it cannot change. I posted info on how to do that on an AT&T modem earlier. I...
