Re: IPC Warning when no internet connection
Thanks for the response. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Option 1 is probably not going to work when the IPCs are not connected to the internet. I checked Option 2 using Google Alerts, but it is more of a marketing tool to find out if your website is used by another websites. Then my google related sea...

IPC Warning when no internet connection
What's the best way to get a warning when IPC internet connection is down ? Assuming I don't look at the Web View or Surveillance Pro all the time.

Re: Signed certificate upload for https
Have you tried log out of Web View and log back in. Then try again. My experience with that video plugin error is it usually goes away after re-login.

Re: Recent ftp files deleted by IP2M-841 using new SW version 2.420.AC00.18.R (2017-05-21)
I confirm deleting old (about two weeks) and recent files on the remote FTP server is still a problem on my IP2M-851 using latest (2018-04-27) firmware. This is serious problem that has not been addressed.

Re: Are there any other IP Camera brands compatible with Amcrest software ?
I have seen Surveillance Pro being used by a private school system. Although there was no label of Surveillance Pro or Amcrest. But it is exactly the same as SP. It seems SP is a white label software.

Re: SFTP/FTP Remote Access for my new Camera IP2M - 841W
Yup, SFTP doesn't work for me. I ended up using regular FTP using FileZilla as server. It works well so far. But I only use it for sending screenshots (with motion detect) because of internet bandwith (cameras being overseas).

Re: IP2M-851E deleting files on remote FTP
At least this time it is still taking snapshots as configured and put them on the remote FTP server. So it seems there is runaway process that delete files and directories for some reasons.

Re: IP2M-851E deleting files on remote FTP
Looks like I spoke too soon. Now it's doing it again, Or at least attempting to delete some files from 5 days ago. But getting 550 CWD Failed, message: "Directory not found" on the FTP log. Because the file/directory were already deleted when I wasn't looking. I think there is something wr...

Re: is amcrestddns down ?
It is working now for me. I think in my case it's related to my other problem where the camera was too busy with the ftp process kept trying to delete files on the remote ftp server. Not only it wasn't taking any snapshots, I'm guessing it wasn't accepting remote login request either.
