Smart Home camera offline
At least once every six weeks or so, one or the other of my two smart home cameras will go "offline" .... The last time, both went offline, but it turned out to be an Amcrest server issue. Last night, my deterrent camera ADC2W went offline, and the doorbell is still working. At no time hav...

Re: Amcrest Smart Home "Server" down?
Chris, while your knowledge and experience on this matter is WAY over my head, still, I appreciate and agree with every point of your post...including the fact that all non-smart cameras remained online. I do feel fortunate that once the Amcrest service was restored, my smart home cameras were autom...

Re: Amcrest Smart Home "Server" down?
Please forgive the attitude, it's one of some frustration with Amcrest support. This is about the 5th time this year I've experienced this offline condition with smart home cameras. Each time in the past I've checked with support, and they would have me go thru the obvious local network checks, rebo...

Re: Amcrest Smart Home "Server" down?
Oh my goodness what a world class operation. With all due respect, I wonder if that would be EST Monday when they "return to work"...? When someone comes in the office, will they discover on their own that millions of smart home devices are offline, or, will a few hundred thousand customer...

Re: Amcrest Smart Home "Server" down?
When Amcrest works, it works fine as expected, but this inconsistency of service is unacceptable...I've encountered this several times this year, and Support has never indicated the issue might be on their end. I too wont be recommending Amcrest to another homeowner asking about a system.

Re: Amcrest Smart Home "Server" down?
Does Amcrest really provide NO notice online that servers are down? When a device is "offline", for starters, the app says I should check MY network . . . It's left to customers to try checking their network settings, perhaps even resetting devices, and then, check a forum, to discover the...

Re: AD110 doorbell is offline in Amcrest SmartHome app
This is the second time in a couple months for me too. As for hard reset, I'm sure that will again likely resolve the issue, but, I don't have time for this, and, one of my two cameras is located on a roof soffit, not real convenient to reach. I did wish Amcrest would address this issue.

Re: Multiple Snapshots for single Motion Event
Thanks, I was curious too, since our old Foscam took and sent 5 pics per single event
