Re: Changing Liveview Resolution on Surveillance Pro

Problem and keep in mind when you setup your camera to your Synology it will or can change things it sees fit to make a connection work for its liking.. You will need to make the adjustment in the device or hardware or software that made the change.. From what I read when you added it to your NAS w...

Changing Liveview Resolution on Surveillance Pro

I have 2 IP28-841B IPCAMS. Recently I have been trying to add one of them ("Front Door") to the Synology Surveillance Pro configuration. In the course of this process, the Liveview feed resolution for Front Door has changed in the Surveillance Pro app (WIN10). It now comes through at (640x...

Re: Can’t Login to IP Cams' Web UI

The NAS is connected to the router via a Powerline connection. The camera is connected wirelessly to a 2.4ghz guest network. Late development I was reading https://support.amcrest.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001102111-How-To-Setup-Your-Camera-To-A-NAS and was finally able to connect to via an Ethernet ...

Can’t Login to IP Cams' Web UI

I have a couple of IP2M-841B IP Cams that I am trying to connect to my Synology Surveillance Station NAS . I want to use this as my NVR. My IP Cams have IP reservations on my Netgear Nighthawk router. I have live feeds on the Amcrest Android app , Surveillance Pro , and the Tinycam Pro app. I have a...

Re: Now that IE is gone, how do I log into my IP Cam?

I think I've figured out my problem!

I could not successfully open my ports. This is because my internet provider uses Carrier Grade NAT protocol. As a result, you can't open ports unless you have a static IP. I will get mine in a few days.

Re: Now that IE is gone, how do I log into my IP Cam?

I just had a thought. A few months ago, I ran all of my devices -- including these cams -- under my guest network. Is is possible that the ports are locked down under Guest? This could explain why I can't forward 37777 for this device. However, I can access live video feeds in Surveillance Pro and m...

Re: Now that IE is gone, how do I log into my IP Cam?

Software version (according to Surveillance Pro): 2.520.AC00.18.R, Build 2017*6-29

I tried using IP Config but it doesn't populate. I can't log into it.

Re: Now that IE is gone, how do I log into my IP Cam?

I get a "This site can't be reached." In which case it's best to double check the IP address you're using. I think that message would indicate that you've entered an incorrect one, it's an error message from your web browser. What firmware version is installed on your camera? The IP is co...

Re: Now that IE is gone, how do I log into my IP Cam?

Yes, I did. I entered the IPCAMS IP address in the URL bar. I get a "This site can't be reached." It used to be that, when one wanted to log into an IPCAM directly, you had to use IE with a AMCREST extension. IE doesn't work anymore. Is there a new way that replaces using Internet Explorer?

I did try port 37777. It doesn't work either.
