Re: Camera Won't Connect Remotely
I've tried (as I understood) what you've said. I've set the settings on the Web View product. I disconnected the camera's IP from the router. I've restarted the Cam. I've tried connecting via P2P in the Android phone (using both WIFI and P2P methods). I can still connect via IP (I reconnected using ...

Re: Camera Won't Connect Remotely
Sorry for the duplicate post but when I tried to review, the prior post did not appear. I assumed that I did not post it correctly. I have tried to do an Ethernet connection with the non-P2P camera. The wizard shows Connection Successful but when I try to login after disconnecting, it fails. The We...

Re: Reflection from the window pane (glass)
I have 2 cameras. The newer one pretty much does not work at night. The light reflects off the window. I thought it was because that this is on the darker side of the house. The older camera faces the street. There is a street light across the street. The night live feed worked just fine. I updated ...

Re: Camera Won't Connect Remotely
Hitherto, I have almost never used the Web View product. I have gone through the settings in both cameras. Camera #1 (one I can't access remotely) has a P2P status of "offline." Furthermore, under Network>Wifi the status is stuck at "connecting." Apparently it keeps trying but do...

Re: Camera Won't Connect Remotely
I've checked the P2P status and it is indeed offline. How do I get it online?
I've also tried releasing the IP address to DHCP and trying another P2P setup via Android. No success.

Camera Won't Connect Remotely
I have 2 AMC cameras (IP2m-841). Recently I have had to replace my router. I was able to reconnect both cameras reasonably well -- mostly. Both cameras are accessible using the Amcrest Surveillance Pro WIN10 desktop app. I can get live feeds from both cameras on the Android phone app. The newer came...

Camera Connects to App but Not to Surveillance Pro
I've had a situation in which I've had to switch routers -- twice! After I powered up my TP-Link, I connected my cameras (IP2M-841 ProHD 1080P) through the app (Android). The app shows both live feeds just fine. However, when I open up my desktop Surveillance Pro product that runs under WIN10, only ...

Re: Changed Router but Can't Connect Camera
It's me again. I got a little further but I'm still not connected. Here is a little more info. My new router is a ZyXEL EMG3425-Q10A. It is the router that came with my new ISP (MetroNet). I connected via the Ethernet method. (I can never get WIFI to work.) I connected and even got the screen that s...

Changed Router but Can't Connect Camera
We got a new fiber internet service. Due to reliability issues, I've had to switch routers to MetroNet's stock router. I've tried to reconnect our camera using WIFI & Ethernet. The wifi method does not work. (It didn't work during initial setup using old router either.) The Ethernet does not wor...
