What is the max disk capacity which can be used with NV4116-HS?
Does it support 6TB and 8TB WD Purple or only the 4TB version?

Hello

To connect to the nvr or camera on port 37777 is there any encryption or does the login pw go plain text over internet?
What protocol is it using?
Mostly does Amcrest View android application use this protocol and is it secure?

I had similar problems, 1-2 reboot pero day...
In my case it was the power supply. I had a 12V/1A which was at the limit. Now with 12V/2A no reboots...
Did notice because I put a external usb harddrive for backup and so it rebooted 2-3 times in the backup...

Hello I have a NVR2108 and backup of saved videos is really a pain. To save 25GB it needs 5h, to save 87GB needs 14h on an external USB disk... What usb speed has the NVR2108, usb1 or usb2? I'm thinking to change to a NV4432E 32, but in the spec there says usb2, will this device save files more rapi...

Hello Read a lot of the issue there is no sound with 841 cameras. I have 5 841 cameras and the NVR NV4108. I cannot hear sound if I connect remote to nvr and show cams. Using video output of NVR I don't have sound. Do I have to connect chinch connector a part of the monitor connector? Directly conne...

You have to use ntp. Are you using NVR or only cameras? I'm using an NVR system and it seems that this one will set date/time on camera OR record his time... If you use only cameras you have to synchronize each camera with an ntp server. This can be done (at least on my cams) in System / Generall / ...

Deleting recorded video

Hi There was an thread about deleting videos with no answer from amcrest. Do you want to tell me that there is no possibility to delete selectively the files recorded or entire cam??? That's really bad... I don't want to format my entire 4TB HD because I have a portion of video which I need to delet...

NV4108 delete entire disk???

Hello Just added a hd to my NV4108 to see if it recognize the disk before I buy the same disk. Has the nice feature to format... But even if you don't do anything nvr seems to write a disk label and delete the whole disk!!!! Is this really so? Not very nice :-( No chance to recover old layout???? Beat
