Perhaps you could write a PC script with timers set to allow you to execute API commands to change the desired display at the proper time. See section 7 , page 140, in API doc.

@Revo2Maxx
You might look into Home Assistant to see if it could do the things you want to do. It includes Amcrest and Dahua integrations. Also see github.com.
I have not used Home Assistant.

Re: PTZ IP4M-10x3EW-AI cameras aren't really AI?
I recently helped a friend set up an IP4M-1063EW-AI but when he wanted to set it up on his AI NVR alongside the existing AI cameras it wasn't available for AI setup. Every other AI camera was available but the 1063EW just came up as a standard non-AI camera. Looked up Amazon reviews to see if anyon...

Re: Audio out and alarm connections on 4K cameras
Revo2Maxx, As my previous post described, this post is ONLY about the IP8M-TD2685EW-AI. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09VRN79X5?ref=myi_title_dp See the IP8M-TD2685EW-AI Technical Specifications. Look under Dongle Connections section near bottom of https://support.amcrest.com/hc/en-us/articles/4415352...

It’s incredibly hard to find online: IP8M-TD2685EW-AI IP8M-2796EW-AI IP8M-2779EW-AI Just use Google to find and look at each camera's Technical Specifications. The only one that has those features is: https://suppor...

Re: External trigger record
To send HTTP commands to an Amcrest camera from a script requires Digest Authenication. Download and use curl in your script to do that. Perhaps that's why HTTP commands don't work for you. Do some Google searches to learn about it. Or use an Amcrest camera that has Alarm I/O feature that will pr...

Re: NVR wasting recording space. What's wrong?
Revo2Maxx, I have always thought you are an NVR expert. Your first comment is right on. The default snapshots are requiring huge disk space. I turned off snapshots Friday night. Total camera video recording total time seems to be increasing slowly. Based on my observations so far, I think it wil...
