They are really pretty easy to set up and manage. What's the issue with wifi? The initial setup has to be done via hardwire as does the email setup. Once you configure everything except the wifi, you save everything and then set up wifi and make it the default. Then you just unplug the Ethernet cabl...

First thing I'd do is a reset. It may have come to you set to static IP. It shouldn't but who knows. Do you have IP Scanner on your PC or an IP scanner app?

The only way I can see you doing this is via a repeater. The cameras do not provide for entering the XFinity username and password. If you can connect a repeater to XFinity and them simply connect the camera to the repeater, that would work. I haven't tried anything like that yet as I don't use the ...

There are 3rd party apps for your phone or IP scanner downloads for your PC to find all the IPs on the network you're connected to.

Try setting your new router to the old SSID and passkey. I've done that successfully.

Try this: hook up your camera via Ethernet and do an email test using the wired interface. It should work. You can then go back to wireless and it should continue to work. Don't ask me why this works but I do this now with all new Amcrest cameras.
