Re: Newbie
You're going to have to reset the camera. Instructions on how to do this were included with your camera or as asked above, give us your camera model number.

Re: No longer get notifications on my phone
This kind of an obvious question but did you confirm that you have notifications allowed in the Android settings?

Re: Amcrest products and KRACK vulnerability
Amcrest is not Foscam. These guys just switched from selling Foscam to the current ones (labeled as Amcrest). For others who think they need to panic, I offer this specific: Our main attack is against the 4-way handshake of the WPA2 protocol. This handshake is executed when a client wants to join a ...

Re: Amcrest products and KRACK vulnerability
Wait. You're comparing Amcrest to Netgear? Wow. Also, aren't Arlos like $250? Ok, so Netgear acknowledges they have a problem. Now what? If you have any history with Amcrest, Foscam, or any of these low end Chinese cameras, you would have more realistic expectations. Go buy a $250 Arlo and you're no...

Re: Amcrest products and KRACK vulnerability

I get where you're going but be realistic. Amcrest is no Google or Apple. As I posted earlier, nothing from Asus. You would think they would ...

Re: Alarm out explanation
Typically, alarm out ports are to be used with an alarm system. The camera would simply be connected to one of the zones on the panel. Upon motion, the camera would trip the zone putting the panel in alarm. I've never usethese ports on an Amcrest camera but what I've laid out is typically how it wor...

Re: Amcrest products and KRACK vulnerability
Buy a Fingbox and it will alert you if someone tries to create a fake network. Right now, every attempt to block ths threat is in beta or nonexistent. Also understand, someone has to be physically in range of your wifi to do this.
