I have a new IP2M-844 outdoor dome and it has a preinstalled ethernet pigtail. But it comes with a specific waterproof fitting to put over the finished connector that requires you to cut the jplug off the premesis cable to be able to feed it into the waterproof fitting. OK, I spoke to tech support and we got it working by opening up an Internet Explorer window in Edge browser. Seriously, is that the only way to access these cams via web browser? Is there firmware coming that will allow the cams to work with modern browsers? I can't see MS continuing support for IE,...

An even better way especially for multiple cams is to get BlueIris software set up on a PC at home and use that to serve the video for all your cams. Only downside is that you need to have the PC running 24/7 but a low power build suffices. The PC is also the DVR then. Like for a single cam you will...
