Re: IP2M-841 Playback not smooth
I think the issue must be something to do with Chrome and the new firmware. I formerly (before the firmware updated) used Microsoft Internet Explorer because it worked the best with the camera. Now that Chrome works I am using it. But I played back the same problematic file in FireFox and of course ...

Re: IP2M-841 Playback not smooth
I have tried it via wifi and wired and the performance is the same. Also it works fine on my phone (when it is on my local wifi or even it playing back the files over the cell network) but my desktop which is wired on the same local network as the camera is where the problem is. 1080p, 20fps 896Kb/S...

IP2M-841 Playback not smooth
I had years of mostly trouble free use out of 2 of these cameras. The only issue I really had was that one of them would "lose" the SD card when it got nearly full. I had it set to overwrite, but when the SD card got full, it would stop recording and I couldn't access any of the files via ...

Hidden firmware link
Can someone tell me why the link to the firmware is no longer available? I got to amcrest.com and click on Support-> Firmware and there is no firmware there. Only an option to sign up for email updates when new firmware is available. I go to the product page and click "firmware" and it tak...

However in all of the setup videos for the Amcrest NVRs it shows hooking up a moni...

I have two IP2M-841 1080P cameras on my LAN. Currently they record video and snapshots related to motion events to the SD card only. I am able to view these files by 1) using the Amcrest View Lite app on my phone 2) using Internet Explorer and logging in to the camera's web interface 3) pulling the ...

Re: What does anti dither do?
I believe that if motion is detected again during the delay time (not the anti-dither time), then that's a new trigger and everything starts over (beginning with the anti-dither time). But if you look at his description, his second event was 13 seconds after the first event. So that was well within...
