Additional/Guest access to Amcrest Cloud account?
I'd like to allow my family to be able to access my cloud account to view recordings but not have the access to make any changes but can't find anywhere that I can add an additional guest access to the cloud account. Is this possible? I can provide direct access using the local accounts I've set up ...

You can't control the PTZ from amcrestcloud.com you need to use the Amcrest View mobile app or amcrestview.com on a supported browser.

Re: IP3M-943B Losing picture settings
Melvin, but recording it locally (SD Card or local network) at the highest resolution IS ideal. The point here is that there ought to be a way to have lower resolution stored to the cloud while the max resolution capable for the camera can be kept/stored locally where bandwidth isn't a concern. As i...

Re: Amcrest Cloud settings supersede camera's local settings?
Yeah, wow.. epic fail! I hadn't had any troubles but when I went in to check out my settings I found the quality setting was blank. Just taking a look at my options and I'm forced to choose between "standard" and "720P". This is on an 841 camera... and now suddenly I can't keep m...

Re: Non-POE to POE Setup - Bandwidth Improvements?
I'm no expert, but in my humble opinion: 1 - Connect the POE switch to the router, closest path to the internet. Connect the NVR to the same switch. Your cameras are dictating bandwidth needs/consumption, so this doesn't really affect that. However, being wired will assure you of the most stable con...

Re: Horrible software!!!!
I'm quite happy with the (3) IP2M-841 cams I have been using for over a year. Stable and very functional. But I don't have 4K monitors, I'm just an average guy using pretty common/standard PCs (run of the mill Windows 10 /phone (iPhone 6s) / tablet (iPad Air 2). Everything works quite well and stabl...

Re: Will plugin EVER work?
Working fine for me using IE 11 on Windows 10? What exactly are you experiencing when trying to install or use the plug-in? If you could provide some details of your problem maybe we can help sort that out.

Re: Amcrest camera unusable after recent Win10 update
Just to mention it, I have not had any problems using IE on Windows 10. Works perfectly fine. It's difficult to ascertain what 'update killed IE' ability...' precisely means, but the issue exhibited by the original poster doesn't seem to be a broad/widespread issue. More likely something with their ...

Re: Two Way Talk Issue
I've only used the audio capability once recently, but didn't experience and problems like you mention. Which is odd considering Melvin is confirming the behavior? Anyway, if feedback is the problem would it help if the person on the remote end is using a headset to separate the microphone and speak...
