Amcrest Cloud - Camera settings reset [possible fix?]
Good morning all! A few days ago I was messing around with my camera configuration and accidentally clicked on the Amcrest Cloud button on my browser. Poof! Off I was to the cloud. And wouldn't you know it; some updates along the way has let me back in! Rewind to February... I got my new Amcrest NVR...

Disable the IR and use a remote IR light source. The flies will be drawn to that source vs the camera - reducing the fly type of alerts.

Seems to be a rather common issue. The kicker, Amcrest will want you to pay for shipping, again, to replace any camera. That's their fix.

I honestly couldn't get the tool to run (I'm not on Windows, however). Your device is on the same network, however, right? That should be all that is needed. The router, is there a firewall? Can you try temporarily disabling the firewall and/or setting some stuff into the DMZ? Like I said, I did do ...

Did you try the P2P setup? It's how I initially set everything up via wifi, then later switched over to ethernet.

Be aware. To get an RMA, you WILL have to have gone thru their tech support and get the recommendation from there; the RMA tech WILL require that. But further aware, ANY RMA from this company, you will have to pay for shipping. And (from being in the US) and the only option available is the $15 ship...
