Do any other manufacturers cameras work with AVP? This camera setup is in conjunction with a number of other cameras (all Amcrest) that a client uses to monitor on their IOS iPad.

James, are you aware of any other Amcrest camera that has the wide angle FOV that this device has? Not including the fisheye model. Frankly, I don't think any of the current firmware cameras work with the IOS iPad AVP.

IP Config via Ethernet was the first thing I tried after repeated failed resets. No worky.

I have an IP3M HX2 that will not reset no matter how long I depress the RST button. It was working fine for several years and then went offline suddenly this week. Newer IP4M / IP2M cameras do not work P2P on iPad AVP for iPad IOS. This has been known for a year now. And, AVP for iphone has an entirely different GUI when installed on iPad rendering it unusable. Amcrest does not care that they said it would when you purchased the camera.

Nice to see that Amcrest has not resolved the iPad issue with newer IP4M / IP2M cameras for P2P use. Unbelievable. I guess it will take thousands more product returns to get them to take notice.

PS - I purchased the IP4M because of a coupon offer received from Amcrest that took $10 off the Amazon normal price. It came in at $49 rather than $59. However, it isn't worth anything to me if the iPad app will not connect. It's all very odd. And, yes, I have deleted and reentered the "add cam...
