Re: Push Notifications stopped working on IPhone
Nope, and Amcrest has not so much as even commented on it, they just ignore any of these threads. My push notifications have stopped working entirely as of about a month ago, I don't even get them on the lock screen anymore. Nothing has changed on my end, it just stopped. Nothing but crickets from A...

What camera for capturing details like faces and license plates?
I have a system with several IP3M-954E 3MP bullet cameras that I've had for a couple years now. For the most part the cameras have worked well however I recently had a real world test where a porch pirate stole some items off my doorstep. They were captured on camera however in the few frames where ...

Re: IOS Amcrest View Pro Resolution Problem
I'm having this exact same problem and it is infuriating because it was working fine in the past release and I got excited when I saw an update to the app available which I hoped would fix the broken push notifications. Well it didn't, and now it introduced this new bug which makes it almost unusabl...

Re: Image Quality
I have the same problem, if I double tap to select one of the cameras the image is pixelated, if I swipe to another camera it clears up but the same thing happens when viewing recordings and I have not found a way to clear it up. I'm seriously regretting updating the app now because the update didn'...

Re: TV Interference
While I don't watch live TV I have had a garage door opener remote that was jammed by an older IP camera. In my case it turned out to be not the camera itself but the cheap AC adapter that powered it. I ended up replacing it with an old style iron transformer type (the old heavy bulky wall warts) wh...

Re: Push Notifications Not Showing up in Event List
It's now late March and not a peep? Is Amcrest even still in business?

Re: Push Notifications stopped working on IPhone
Mine have never worked right. I get a notification when I unlock my iPhone but unless I tap on it, it just goes away and is not in the event log. If I do tap on it I can see that motion event but any others that have occurred are gone. I have given up, the app is garbage and has not improved one bit...

NV4108-HS hard drive filling fast
I have a NV4108-HS NVR connected with four IP3M-954E cameras and my 4TB drive fills after only about 3 weeks. At my mom's house there is a different model Amcrest NVR (8 channel with built in POE switch) and five IP3M-954E cameras identical to mine and hers records *3 months* on an identical 4TB dri...

Re: How do you shut down an NV4108-HS?
I just yank the power cord, never had any trouble with that, it's no different than what happens when there's a power outage.
I suppose there's a possibility of corrupting a recording but I haven't yet had that happen. The operating system in these is on a read-only file system.
