Will the ip3m-954e ever have firmware updated to provide for mp4 files?

Anyone?

I have the same two cameras. Amcrest has promised mp4 for the 954E, but it hasn't "dropped" yet.

I have camera IP3M-954E. The viewer app for my iPad requires 3 clicks to get to the live view. The app for my iPhone opens directly to the last camera live view. Any way to get the iPad app to open directly to live view?

IPhone viewer updated and OK. Still waiting for iPad update.

I have the IP3M-954. The Amcrest viewer works on my iPhone that's using iOS 9.35, but stopped working on my iPad when I ugraded to 10.0.1. Hopefully an update is coming soon.

On occasion, from my IP3M-954E, I get more than one snapshot per motion detection in one email. An hour ago I got five. I don't consider this to be a bad thing, just curious why it happens. There's nowhere in settings to choose more than one per email, it just happens every once in a while.

I am generally satisfied with my outdoor bullet camera - IP3M-954E. However, during a heavy rainstorm, I get hundreds of motion detection emails, even with a fairly high threshold setting. Any ideas - other than stopping notifications during a storm?

Strangely, if I send the Dav file from my FTP site to google drive, the file can be played there. Additionally, if I email myself the file from Google drive, I will get an MP4 file as an attachment.

Firefox on Windows 7 was updated today, and the needed plugin for viewing the camera no longer works. I had to use IE In order to live video, etc. Has anyone else had this issue?
