had the same issue writing to a server with an ftp server. the issue was..................... the user needed full read write access.

Batch video conversion from .dav to avi
Is there a tool that can batch convert the .dav files to Avi ? I have a tool that can do them one at a time but it does not support command line options. or will there be an option for IP2M-842Ecameras to write to a different video format ? hopefully AVI MP4 ?

I have my cameras writing to a FTP server, it currently writes to \\Camera name\date\dav\hour\minute and in there there are multiple Minutes folders. I would like to change the write path to exclude the hours and minutes as i can have the files named the time they are recorded. Also is there a way t...
