the camera is NOT in the Amcrest cloud.

I think I saw a report that the cameras are connecting to the cloud even if you don't use it. May be causing the issues.
See if you disconnect them from the internet (you can still have them on your local network) of the problem continues.

Also causes a lot of settings to no longer save. Every reboot (power failure or whatever) causes them to rest to default.

I have a camera mounted upside down on the ceiling and because of this I had enabled image rotate 180 degrees.
Now every time the camera reboots the settings revert to default. Also the preset settings revert as well.
I upgraded to firmware V2.420.AC00.17.R from 15.R

watching saved videos ProHD 1080P
How are you supposed to watch recorded events on the ProHD 1080P? It doesn't work on the app or the IP Config program.
