also, if you use amcrest cloud, whatever settings you pick there will override your local camera settings.

I tried...no luck. I know DDNS on the camera is working though because I can view it outside of my network via my laptop and a browser. Just not through my iphone 6s app.

jeffee...thanks for the info.....I tried what you said, but I just get a "failed to connect" error message.

Do you need to port forward UDP? In the original instructions it said to port for UDP as well.
I use NO-IP as well. I can access my cameras via a computer outside my network, but cannot access them through the app on my iPhone 6s.

I have found the settings on the cloud loosely fit the settings on the camera. I eventually had to remove my cameras from the AMCREST cloud because of the issues you are having. I have not had nearly the issues I had previously since I did. Unfortunately I already paid for a full year.

I used different port numbers but forwarded all three ports (http, tcp, udp). Then i tested the port forwarding with my laptop on another network and it worked fine. I was able to connect to all my cameras via DDNS. Now I go to the app and try to set them up un IP/DDNS putting in all the info and th...
