Re: Different Motion Settings on Mobile and Cloud Website?
I have found the AMCREST cloud will override your other settings. I have verified this. The settings don't match up either. I had to stop using the cloud because of this. It's a real PITA.

Anti Dither? PRO HD
Can someone explain what anti-dither is and how it works with motion detect?
I think I understand that it's some kind of alarm/event timer, but that's about it.
What does it do exactly and how do you want to set it?

Re: WiFi Camera Frustration
I would try and hard wired them to a wireless router and the use the router as a bridge back to your main connection. I have 4 cameras running on one wireless network. Of course i am using a netgear x4s router.

Re: Downloading from amcrest cloud and more
I had problems early on getting them to work through the app. I have since figured out that the substream wasn't enabled and that was the issue. I and still working on downloading videos directly from the camera. Overall they are probably 75%

Re: Port Forwarding displays partial page
I haven't had good luck with chrome or safari. FYI. I would definitely change the port to something other than 80 or 8080 or some other common port as you will have problems.

Re: NAS options....QNAP or Synology
I would echo wha jAbber is saying. I don't have an nvr so I have no experience with that but have had much the same experiences with the cameras. I am still having issues with the auto reboot settings on the camera not staying how I set them. For the most part though once it's setup it has been ok.

I should also note that I have resorted to using only the app notifications. No email.
