I use P2P and mine has been working fine for the last five days. I'm glad you got it to work but it was not the server unless they had to reset something specific to your devices.

Could be a corrupt setting. I don't know which DVR you have but have you tried resetting it to factory settings and starting over?

Did you give it a static IP address or use DHCP? DHCP will renew periodically and could change the address, static will keep the address you assign.
