Push notifications IOS 15
I have 2 Amcrest NV5216 NVRs. Prior to IOS 15 I was getting push notifications from both. Since upgrading to IOS15 I only get push notifications from one of the NVR's. The NVR in question is detecting and recording motion so I know that works. I've tried everything to resolve the issue including uni...

Re: APP AND AMCREST VIEW NOT WORKING
I use P2P and mine has been working fine for the last five days. I'm glad you got it to work but it was not the server unless they had to reset something specific to your devices.

Re: 1 channel wont record
Could be a corrupt setting. I don't know which DVR you have but have you tried resetting it to factory settings and starting over?

Re: APP AND AMCREST VIEW NOT WORKING
LiveViewPro uses the Extra/Sub stream so you need to make sure it is enabled on your cameras. I have had issues connecting over some WIFI networks so I disable WIFI on my IPhone and connect over cell, then it works. I also need to close the LiveView app after each use or it will not connect the next...

Re: WiFi Camera Frustration
I have a property with 2 buildings and 2 cameras on each building. I tried to link them using a wireless remote bridge all recording back to an NVR4108 at the main building. My experience was similar to yours in that the cameras would record for a few hours then would crash the wireless bridge. I tr...

Re: NAS options....QNAP or Synology
I have had some bumps along the way. I had the reboot loop issue and the issue with connecting using LiveView, and an issue with motion snapshots (it delays the snapshot by 4 seconds so you miss what caused the motion). It's not perfect, here are my current complaints: - When I make setting changes ...

Re: NAS options....QNAP or Synology
I have the NVR4108 and IP2M-842/IP2M-842E cameras. I'm sure you've read a lot of posts so you know some of the issues with these but once you get it configured it works well and should only get better with software releases. I went with NVR over NAS because they are inexpensive and you have support/...

Re: Using wireless streaming HDD as recorder
My concern would be if it could handle the large amount of data transmitted by the cameras. In a different scenario than yours I tried to setup a WIFI bridge between 2 buildings and record back to an NVR. When I added the 2nd camera it would work for a few hours then crash the WIFI bridge, I tried 2...

Re: IP2M-842 offline & changing IP address
Did you give it a static IP address or use DHCP? DHCP will renew periodically and could change the address, static will keep the address you assign.
