If someone needs a previous 4108 file i have this one.

one thing i do is always download the updates so i can revert if necessary. never update via a tool.

ive only used surv pro.

i dont think they are an either/or.

The pro does more than allow you to see playback. it is a total configuration tool for all your cameras, NVR, DVR and allow you to watch live view or recorded views.

does amcrest even have that option in their offerings?

why do you need the nvr to be wireless? wouldnt it be more reliable if it is uses ethernet to stay connected at all times and have the cameras connect wirelessly to the nvr?

i recommend always downloading the firmware manually and not doing auto update.

this way you can revert back to a working version.

and once i have cameras working like i want i wont do an upgrade. amcrest upgrades are not reliable.

reset to mfr settings in the web interface

plug in works in IE only.

you can still do everything else you want using the interface. you cannot see live view but all the settings are available.

i agree they are pretty inept not to make this work for all browsers.

if you downloaded the upgrade instead of updating directly online you can update to any version from your downloaded versions.

can you revert back to previous firmware version?

i always download the versions this way i can revert back easily. Also, unless the camera is broken I refrain from updating.

whatever tinycam did with their last release I now have remarkable response time with my amcrest cameras.

for now, i will not be upgrading amcrest cameras to the latest upgrade.
