Instead of reintroducing basic auth, can you possibly enable other auth methods? i.e. maybe allow u/p as arguments to the URL, or even as headers.Melvin wrote:The basic authentication was removed for security enhancement. So we are not sure it this will be reintroduced at this point.

I am having the exact same issue in IE using the IP2M-841. In the GIF attached by timtrace, the user sets the threshold to 66, sets sensitivity to 60, then starts moving stuff around the screen. I am attempting to modify my API calls in light of the removal of basic authentication. I do not have a mechanism to utilize the digest authentication. I was wondering it it was possible to pass my username and password as arguments to the API. i.e. can I send in the username and password like this:...

So testing this out, it looks like You cannot view the file that is currently being recorded via the Amcrest Web View app. Is there a way that I can see the file that's currently being recorded? i.e. if I have the Pack Duration set to one hour, but want to see something that just happened 10 minutes...

I currently have my camera set to 24/7 record to my sd card. The camera is set to the default pack duration of 8 minutes, but I want to change this to 1 hour (or possibly even longer). The benefit would be that I can download an entire hour of logs in one file, and not have to download several 8 min...
