Is there any way to authenticate instead of digest auth?

Instead of reintroducing basic auth, can you possibly enable other auth methods? i.e. maybe allow u/p as arguments to the URL, or even as headers.

I am attempting to modify my API calls in light of the removal of basic authentication. I do not have a mechanism to utilize the digest authentication. So testing this out, it looks like You cannot view the file that is currently being recorded via the Amcrest Web View app. Is there a way that I can see the file that's currently being recorded? i.e. if I have the Pack Duration set to one hour, but want to see something that just happened 10 minutes...
