Re: Audio setup
I just hooked up a standalone mic to my system using the audio input on the back of the DVR. It appears to record the audio on the Camera 1 channel with no apparent way to configure it. I tried messing with the Audio Enable settings for each channel, but could never get it off of channel 1. I'm not ...

Re: login failed
I was having that problem after updating the firmware. I had to uninstall and re-install the plugin for firefox. That worked. See Melvin's suggestion in the thread below.

Re: Remote access login failure
I am getting the same error ever since I installed the latest firmware. I can log in from my home network, and I can access the camera from the app, but I cannot log in from a remote PC. All the proper ports are open and forwarded.

Chrome - plugins will soon be unsupported
I have been getting messages whenever I log into my DVR using Chrome that the DVR site uses two plugins that will soon be unsupported: npmedia.dll and TimeAxes. I upgraded my firmware, but I still get these messages. Is anyone else getting these on Chrome for the 720p system?

Re: Can't access setting using Chrome browser now.
Maybe try typing "chrome://plugins/" in the address bar and looking to see if the plugin is disabled. If it is, there should be a little Enable link under it.

Re: Threshold and Sensitivity Settings
The DVR firmware on the 720p system that I have doesn't seem to respect the regions that I have set up. Motion outside the region still triggers a motion event. I am fairly happy with the settings I have right now expect for on cloudy days. Those days are full of false alarms, but what can you do? B...

Re: Can't access setting using Chrome browser now.
I'm sorry that didn't seem to work for you. I have used that fix on three different computers so far. Chrome deprecated the npapi protocol and disabled it in the latest version. I think that caused issues with several plugins out there. The plug in for one of my foscam cameras stopped working also, ...

Re: Can't access setting using Chrome browser now.
I think I found a solution for Chrome. I was having trouble running a game and the site gave a solution. It said to paste "chrome://flags/#enable-npapi" into the address bar and then click, the enable link. The full instructions are at https://miniclip.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/2054128...

Amcrest appears to use Dahua firmware
I know we all get frustrated looking for solutions on this forum sometimes, but it appears that Amcrest systems use Dahua firmware. There are several other forums where Dahua systems are discussed, so it may be worthwhile to look on those sites for help as well. Here is a snippet from the source of ...
