No disk
Two days ago when I walked into my office I hear a beeping every few seconds and see this message on my monitor. I have to unplug the unit and plug it back in to get it working again but then overnight it does the same thing. I'm about ready to throw this entire system in the dumpster and buy someth...

Re: Someone at Amcrest needs to fix this. NOW!!
Amcrest created this forum so they should frequent it. It's why it a "Tech" forum. It wasn't started by some outside source. It's theirs! I've made several posts about the problems I have been having which is the same as many on here but my posts seem to get overlooked. I own and operate a...

Re: Someone at Amcrest needs to fix this. NOW!!
Amazing how Amcrest technicians completely ignore my posts. IMO this shows they don't care about Customer Service, only selling product and making money. They've answered several threads on here but continue to ignore mine. I'm done! Will never recommend their products and will make sure everyone kn...

Someone at Amcrest needs to fix this. NOW!!
This DVR system has to be the biggest POS I've ever owned!! I just got back from being out of town for 6 days and while sitting in my office my DVR has rebooted itself 3 friggin' times in the last 5 minutes. My office is currently 60 degrees and the DVR sits on the top shelf of a shelving unit all b...

Re: DVR rebooting
This is seriously "F'd" up!! My DVR just rebooted twice in a 10 minute period. It's 28 degrees outside and 60 degrees in my office where the DVR is located. What a pile of shi*!! I'll never buy or recommend an Amcrest product to anyone. In fact I'm considering selling this system dirt chea...

Re: Customer Support and Forum Answers
I can't speak for others but I own and operate a small business and don't have much time for phone chat. I figured this "tech" forum was created for buyers of Amcrest systems to get "tech" help but it seems our efforts to get help fall on deaf ears. I really can't see a reason to...

Re: DVR rebooting
I'm sitting at my desk and mine just reset itself twice in the last hour. Log says the usual. "reboot with flag 0x01" I'm happy with the camera clarity but know I will never buy or recommend Amcrest again. If there is a cooling issue then they should recall all the DVR's and replace them w...

Re: DVR rebooting
No. it still occasionally restarts when it feels like it. Very frustrating and probably wouldn't buy another Amcrest system due to it and the lack of customer support on it. Seems like it's not high on their priority list.

Re: DVR rebooting
I have the current firmware already, put that in a month ago. Also my DVR is plugged into a brand new Cyberpower 825VA battery backup so there is no issue with it getting consistent power. Yet I still get the flag of 0x01 when it reboots.

Re: DVR rebooting
Hello?? Does our issues not matter because no one has addressed this problem in weeks? My system just rebooted again all by itself.
