Re: IP2M-841W with the 2.420.AC00.17.R firmware continually connects then disconnects from FTP server
One of my four 841s has this issue, constantly asking to allocate space and being told its unneeded. Then repeating the convo every 15 seconds or so, same as OP. While more annoying than critical it's a pain in the logs. Plus, this cam is FPS-challenged and the chitchat doesn't help.

Re: New Firmware Update for IP2M-841 today?
I also posted in the Technical forum before I saw this thread. I'll stay on this one. Don't mean to sound like a jerk Melvin, but if my cam is popping up upgrade notifications to a new version, that version should exist. Exist, documented, posted. Old school maybe, but I prefer to download once and ...

New Firmware for 841s
Hello, Is there a reason I'm being prompted by each camera to do a firmware upgrade for my 841s, but yet that firmware is not available nor listed on the website for download? I have multiple cameras and do not wish to do them all one by one over the internet. Also like to see what was updated and/o...

Re: IP2M-842 Freezes up
My 3 month old 842 has also developed this lock up or freezing problem. Annoyingly, the option to auto reboot keeps resetting to off as well. The software driving the camera is bloated and oddly differs in places from the 841s, a model I find works far, far better than an 842. And sadly, there is on...

Re: HD 1080P Control software?
Hmm, the web plug in just allows video to be shown through the web browser. It's not a standalone app. Get the feeling of confusion, though. Are you browsing to the camera's IP address? Even with no plugin or video you can still choose Setup, then go to Storage - Destination - SD Card. There's a for...

Re: Wireless problem and windows installer does not render r
I'll assume you meant the iOS 9.3.1 emergency fix worked. Apple broke a few things in the 9.3 release, primarily that clicking on web links sometimes caused apps to freeze. Sounds like you may have been bit.

Re: Motion detection for day and night
MattGeb - I have both the video and snapshots going, and I find the snapshots are useful if the motion is big enough. Person, car, dog, etc. I point a camera at a bird feeder & several bird houses right outside a door, and the sparrows will set off the video (which I like) but most of the time n...

Re: Motion detection for day and night
I find motion detection to be mostly black magic and guesses. But in that light, have you tried something like 75 and 40?

No problem - I've been burned like that doing searches on other websites than here. Good luck flashing.

Re: How to Upgrade IP2M-841B Firmware
I suggest you try downloading the user manual PDF, located under the Support drop down. That info and much more are located there. The PDF info probably isn't searchable. (and I'm not being snarky - lots of documentation there)
For the record that's under System - Upgrade.
