Push notifications not working
Hello- I have tried EVERYTHING suggested on this forum and still no luck with push notifications working. If anyone can assist me that would be greatly appreciated! Do push notifications even work?? Everything on the app is enabled and seems to work, but I don't get notified on my phone. I do have 2 WiFi cameras that work great with push notifications, just not the ones that are connected to my NVR. Thanks again in advance.

I'm having the same issue. My push notifications stopped working mid October, seems like it started when I updated my iPhone to IOS 16.. anyone else having this issue?

Same here Oct 17 I think was the date it last worked and I have not updated my iOS. I think its on Amcrest end. I submitted a ticket a week ago and have had no response.

Hello to each of you and Welcome to the forum..
Personally I don't have that issue yet I do have another one that I mentioned long before the 17th. I have turned that issue in and was reported back that it was able to be Duplicated and wonder if that might be the issue here?
So here is my Issue and wonder if it is related to yours.
I have a Notice setup and I get push no issue, However I setup a second push on same device or even another device and I no longer get any push for either of the ones setup..
So I turn off all notices and turn on 1 and I get my push again for that 1 device, Again I setup a second device and I no longer get any. So I then go in to each device that I want Push for clicking that I want push again for that device and now I get push for all devices that I have setup. If I setup 5, I wait test and if I don't get it again for any of the devices I go back in and act as if I am setting them all up and after that save it seems they are all working.
If it is related to that it is being worked on and not sure when a updated release is coming.

Revo2maxx- Thanks for the reply. So how are you doing the setup to get the push notifications to work?? Also what mobile device are you using? Amcrest support told me that it is an issue with "them" and they are trying to push out an update for the the Amcrest view pro app. Just curious if I am doing something wrong, which seems hard to do. The app seems pretty straight forward. Thanks again!

So right now I am using it on a Samsung 21 Ultra, It also works on my Samsung 9. So on my 21, I just turned on for a Delivery that was coming today. I got the Notice from my Amcrest DVR..
So I do have another device also chose and at first it didn't work, I had my son trip both areas that I have setup right now and now both are working as expected. The problem is when i first setup my DVR to alert on the Driveway, It didn't work and the other one stopped working even though the back yard alerted just a little while ago.. So I had to go in and setup them both again at the same time even though it is different units (One is my DVR the other is a NVR)
I also use DMSS along with my Amcrest View Pro for a couple of other cameras that I want or need setup and don't want to worry about will it work or not. Seeing I have some Dahua cameras it makes it smooth out some of the issues.
Personally noticed the issue, Relayed this to Amcrest some time ago, They hadn't heard of it, Tested on there end and found they could copy the issue and have been working on fixing it..

Followup here, I have been in contact with support and they are sending to a higher expertise level for investigation of the issue. I only have the ability for motion detection on cameras, no trips like shown in other post. Unsure if there is a difference in the push sending etc. Also I have noticed that the motion events are not being logged at all telling me that it may not be a push issue at all, the events are failing to register leaving nothing to push. I have relayed this info to support. Hopefully this gets resolved soon.

Sorry to hear that, It sounds like you having other issues that isn't related to Push at all.. So I have just now entered a new one and this one is for Motion only on my Doorbell camera that is on my 4116E-HS NVR Ch1. I don't normally use Motion but it is the fastest one that don't require someone to set it off other then normal traffic. Right after setting it up, I got my first alert. It is for Motion as that is what you had said your using..

If you look back at the app version history looks like it's an on going thing they have to update every year on their end. Hope they fix it soon.

On my devices, Android AVP push notifications do work and IOS push notifications do not work.
