Well, so far so good with the NVR NV4116E-A2. Some odd monitor display issues, but they seem to work themselves out. MIGHT be the use of the VGA port and older monitor. Not todays issue.
I have a bunch (20+) Axis 221 cameras, c2008. Take outs from a former workplace. Work GREAT with BI, POE, about bulletproof, and interchangeable lenses. Fixed, and variable zoom.
Some fine old hardware. Easily accessed from my web browser (Chrome) at 192.168.1.102. Displays fine using motion JPEG. BUT... the NVR cannot 'see' it. Even manually adding it via IP. Nor is it found in a search.
Says MPEG4 is available as a camera video output, but I have not made it work yet.
I know its an antique.
BUT.. very handy as spotter cameras. Any suggestions on how to integrate them?
