Been using an NV4108 NVR for almost a year now with no issues.
I have it set up to send me emails with snapshots on motion detect.
About a week ago it suddenly stopped sending emails. I tried the Email Test with Amcrest View Pro and it failed every time.
So I logged in to the NVR and looked at the email settings. Everything was correct EXCEPT the Username and Sender were incorrect. Both are supposed to be my full Comcast email address but instead they were only the first part of the address without the "@comcast.net".
How could this have changed by itself? The problem seemed to have started when I used Amcrest View Pro to disable motion detect on one camera when my neighbor had contractors walking around all day. After their work was finished I re-enabled motion detect and it was after this that this problem started happening. Could modifying a camera setting using the app have caused settings in the NVR to become corrupted?
