Not at 4K. That NVR is a 1080 box.

Hello and Welcome to the forum,

In short the answer would be no. The 1104 says it works with 2 1080P or 4 720P cameras. However in the long answer is Sure any 4k camera that has the ability to scale down to 1080P then this would work for the 2 at 1080P mode.. However most 4k I think limits the 1080P to the lowest they scale down. I am not 100% sure as I have not looked at mine in a while if they went as far down as 720P. However in most cases people that bought quality 4K cameras didn't buy them to scale them back to the 1080p format The cost of buying a 4k NVR today is so cheap should just buy a NVR that supports 4k even if it is a used 4108E-HS that can be found for less then 60USD on places like Ebay most times. If you want Warranty then best to by from Amcrest so if there ever is a problem you are covered.
Be Safe.

So I didn't look over all my 8mp cameras that I have going on. However the first 2 that I did check in fact will work at 720P. One from Amcrest and one from Dahua. Looking at the pictures you will notice that the Amcrest camera is working in the IE tab mode and the Dahua isn't that is because the Dahua has updated the FW in current cameras to work with the rules in Chrome and Edge so I don't use that one in IE tab. Where the FW that is on the Amcrest camera so far for my cameras anyway don't work all camera options that will work in IE and seeing IE is no longer a thing I use the IE tab in Edge so I can get all options offered in the cameras. Even in some of the Dahua cameras with current FW still says features offered best in IE mode..

Anyway I personally wouldn't pay the price for a 4k camera to scale it down to 720p to work with the 1104 NVR unless it was the only option I have until I can get a 4k NVR. I do have some shelf Queen recorders that I can use as backup for one of my Current in use line of Recorders that might go offline and need replacement.
