I recently started using motion detection and have a problem. Using the View Pro 2 app I sometimes get accurate and on time alerts but more often than not I don’t get any or they are delayed by several minutes.
In addition, and the most frequent is when an event occurs, I receive no alert but when another event occurs, I receive an alert for the previous event that happened which I originally never got an alert for. This just continues to chain.
Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks.

Motion Alert Problems
Re: Motion Alert Problems
Hello and Welcome to the Forum
So I don't have your camera or NVR.. I do have many NVRs and cameras though, 5232E-16P, 4216E-AI, 4216-E1, 4116E-hs, 4108E-HS, 4108-A2, 2108E-HS and a few DVRs.. I get all my alerts as the events happen and most times before an event even ends.. Only difference is that I am using Android for phone.. It could be any few different things. What type of connection are you using? Switch or just router? What type of Router?

Internet is 1 gig fiber. Router is opnsense to a 48 port switch. Cameras and nvr are on a separate 16 port poe switch. They are on a vlan with no internet and i use wireguard vpn to view them.
I did open them up unrestricted to internet as part of my troubleshooting.
