Lost internet connection
Lost internet connection
DVR shows not connected. Everything else in the house is connected. Did not touch any cables. What are the recommended troubleshooting steps to get reconnected?

Need little more info on the type of machine to get better help maybe..
First thing I would try is and I am sure already tried but I would try and do a Reboot of the system, Then I would double check the Cable. Swap out a known good cable for the one connected. That is the first 2 things I would do.
However it might have been changed in the Network portion of the DVR. Maybe it got changed on accident and the change is outside of the networks range so no connection.. Before doing a reboot or cable swap I would double check that the IP in the DVR's Network, TCP/IP area is in the same range as your network..
