local ip address

Hi,
I'm using Amcrest View Pro on my iphone.

I can see my cameras outside my home but when I'm connected to the same WIFI as my cameras I cannot see them.
I'm sure it has to do with the local ip address vs. actual ip but I'm not sure how to change it in the program.

Can anyone help? Thank you.

Well if there is a connection issue while on local network then there has to be a firewall blocking your phone from accessing the server. You would need to delete camera or recorder from the app and add it back using ip setup method. Keep in mind doing so will mean you no longer have remote access while being away from local network or while on cell internet.
