I was just in contact with Amcrest technical support (via telephone) regarding an issue with my 8 channel 720p HDCVI DVR.
The DVR will not display any video. When I restart it, it just sounds one long beep, and the power indicator is illuminated, however, nothing shows on the external display. Also it appears on the Amcrest Surveillance Pro desktop application as ‘offline.' The ethernet port indicator light are on though.
If it was a bad HD, I would imagine it would still connect to the app, and still display video. I guess maybe I have a bad motherboard?
