Cameras Not Found By NVR
So I purchased an Amcrest 4108E-A2 NVR to replace an older no name NVR that was glitching. When setting up the new NVR and searching for cameras, none of my 4 cameras are detected? The 4k POE cameras are not Amcrest but I was told the Amcrest NVR would be compatible. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks.

Need more info, camera model, onvif supported and turned on? Nvr and cameras in same network range?

Re: Cameras Not Found By NVR
The camera doesn't seem to have a brand name on it but it has this model number and other information on it.
8MP IP POE Turret Camera
Model: CA-Y-608TCA-2MM
Lens 2.8mm Two Way Audio
S/N 202301130029
The old NVR had this information on it:
Model No. NVR-US-8M4C
4K 4CH HD POE NVR
U202301130525
SATA:1PCS System:NTSC
OneNid Inc
I hope this helps. Everything is on the same network and I believe they are ONVIF cameras.
Thanks

Re: Cameras Not Found By NVR
That is better.. Happy New Year..
So I don't know the Hardware and I can't say that the devices are open or a closed system.. Some devices even though they work with some 3rd party cameras the cameras for there own brand are brand only.. So a couple of things.. One if the cameras are open with WebUI.. I would go into the WebUI and see if the camera offers things like ONVIF support. Some you have to turn on. Some not only turn on but have to add a ONVIF user.. So it might be an issue like that..
