Two questions:
1. When I auto search, three items show up but I have two cameras - why? (( added all three)
2. The online status shows (Offline (Invalid User) - How do I get it to go online? I have added the same password for the admin and for me

The first question that comes to my mind is, what are the serial numbers of the devices that are being discovered? Is one repeated perhaps. If you have set up a camera initially on an ethernet connection and then changed to wi-fi it may be responding simultaneously on both IP addresses.
I would suggest posting more information detailing the model numbers of the cameras and what software or hardware you are using to connect to them.

Another thing that comes to mind is maybe using ASP and the 3rd Item is PC-NVR? or as longedge has stated might be a wifi camera showing both IP if you still have Cable connected to camera
