New to Amcrest DVR

Hello everyone,

I have updated from NightOwl DVR to Amcrest after using Amcrest 960H cameras for about 3 years (only cameras I've found that actually show colors correctly!).

I started with Zoneminder software on a PC and video cards (worked well until I could no longer find the video cards after an electrical spike killed the one's installed).

Moved to NightOwl DVR, which worked well enough...but would not support Amcrest 720P camera I had bought. Finally purchased some of the following which is now set up.

@rtm Hello and Welcome to the Forum

I at one time had some Night Owl cameras... Not something I would buy again...

Hope you find your new Amcrest system useful in the years to come.
