It looks like there is some white light illumination available in your snapshot. Your camera sensor has pretty good low light color capability. You could try a night time color image and see how you like it. Go to Setup/Camera/Configuration/Day & Night, change Mode from Auto to Color, and save.

Hi, I would like also to change my night settings to color, but I cannot follow the following instructions.
What page does this begin on--I cannot find any 'Setup' or settings area--only 'configurations,' and nothing about Day & Night. Am I in the wrong area?
Thanks!

Hello TanningLLC.

SOrry to make it easy. From the Web UI of Chrome or IE if older Firmware. Click the Setup, Then click camera configuration. then under there will be an area for Day/Night. Click that and you can change the Night time to Day Color.

If you want to work with Schedules then it is under the next tab of Profile Management. There you can tell the system when you want day and night to be. This is good working with Winter Times seeing the darkness happens sooner then summer times. Made an image of what the pages might look like seeing they can differ it should look something like the 3 images I have clipped into one. To see it larger you can right click it open in a new tab it will be just the image in the tab and can see clearer image.

Well hard to say there are so many different choices... However main issue is going to be where Quality meets Mega Pixel??

So that one your saying is a 856EW and I guess the question is are you Zoomed in or at at this view?

Next step up would be 1056EW and that goes from the 2mp that you have there to a 4MP with Motorized Zoom...

Or maybe if you want even more area go for the PTZ 4mp and that will give you even more zoom and area of view with ability to setup tours scans and other great things.. But yeah the camera you have there is about 80% better then my 956E WOW however right now I am using it as a sky cam and just as I was typing this I look up and watch 2 planes going head to head but I don't know this dark how high but they could have waved at each other as they passed by lol I should put on Youtube lol all you can see is 2 flashing dots headed at each other lol...
