I have recently purchased an Amcrest doorbell, and am so far, happy with the purchase.
I already bricked one of the doorbells, so I am on my second unit.
I am still trying to configure the RTSP protocol with WebcamXp.
Also have I am having a bit of frustration with the “motion sensing” aspect of the doorbell.
I want the motion sensor to go off and begin a recording, but I don’t want the push notification.
I want the montion sensing event to store locally on the device itself (microSD). In which it does.
I DO want a notification if someone were to ring the doorbell tho.
So motion sensor on, with no push notifications.
Assistance or guidance would be much appreciated.
I have a dedicated Win7 machine running as my “DVR”, equipped with RAID, UPS, and all the bells and whistles.
