Which NVR/DVR for IPM-721S (recording issue)

Post by anassk »

Hello,

I'm planning to buy the IPM-721S or perhaps the IP2M-841 to install a full home security system (6 cameras in total), i need to record fulltime (24h a day or when a motion is detected, it depend), but the SDcard is too limited for that so i already found some complete security systems that are able to record wirelessly (connectivity between cameras and the recorder) but i'm falling in love in your cameras so if i can have a recorder that can do the same for Amcrest cameras then i'll not hesitate to buy theses cameras.

So what can be suitable to record all my cameras 24/24 with a hard drive ?

Regards

Hello anassk,
Glad to see that you are interested in our product. What you would need is NVR and hard drive installed in it for 24/7 recording. The NVR can also output 1080P video to big TV or monitor(HDMI/VGA). The below NVR supports upto 8 cameras (only 4 at 1080P resolution). You can also get a 4TB hard drive to work with the NVR.

Hello Melvin,

I think the "Wireless" part has been missing, i don't want to connect cameras to the NVR using ethernet, but using wifi, the NVR you proposed use ethernet for connectivity, this is the problem i faced.. any solution ?

Hello anassk,
The cameras are wireless and will connect to the NVR wirelessly. The only thing is the NVR needs to be plugged in to the router with Ethernet. Sorry for the confusion.
