Try port 8999. That solved some problems for me in saving and executing certain settings with a NV4108 that wasn't playing nice on 37777. Integration with a NVR shouldn't be this difficult, but the goal posts keep changing with Amcrest and the support is, well...

There's a lot out there on this subject, particularly in relation to Blue Iris. It's achievable, but hardly a cake walk.

I would go for the blue iris, but being on SSA doesn't cut the bill. All my cameras seem to like 37777, so I haven't had to touch it.

Just to clarify and not mislead...

What I meant was, there's a lot out there on the various ASH47 issues, not necessarily on using port 8999 as an alternative to Amcrest's proprietary 37777.

8999 allowed me to configure, schedule, save and implement recording setups for various cameras on my 4108. Using 37777 would only allow limited functionality and would not save motion detection settings for certain cameras. This indicates a proprietary TCP issue in my way of thinking.

O well, let's see, starting with my barn I have about 16 analog cameras all tie to my DVR. My DVR is then connect to my router. My house has the 2 ASH 47, 3 Amcrest 1080P wifi camera, 2MP Bullet IP that is facing my elect box, and my lastest addition is my SV3C PTZ IP camera. My SV3c is the only one that is on port 8080 and not 37777, but I've been able to import it into my ASP and they all seem to get along with each other. My house is connected to my NVR 4116-A2 16 channel, but if you count all my cameras that are going into the 4116-A2 (which is a 16 channel) I have well over 16 cameras.

As I said Before you have a 16ch NVR, You are able to view many more on the camera setup but once you add 16 to the NVR that is all that it will load. Now you can see more as I also said before on your ASP. Upto 64ch in the Video Management Software from Amcrest. Here are some 32ch NVRs but don't look the same as the 41xx line of NVR's that is the 4232 and the 5232 line and they are a larger platform NVR with 2 HDD bays and more power then the 4116-A2 has. Again you say going into your NVR of 16ch you have more then 16 going into it. There isn't a NVR in the 41xx line that I know would hold 32ch So are you sure you don't mean you have more then 16 channels that you can view on your ASP? 2 Different things.

Yes. You may be pushing the envelope on the 4116 if actually trying to integrate more than 16 cameras into/through it -- presumably with a switch in the mix somewhere, too?

OK. Just missed that.

So the ASHs are networked into the NVR, or ASP?
