So no go on doing it with the NVR correct? Question: Under speed you have a "+" and a "-". Are you clicking these? Next question: How can I just communicate with the ASH 47. THrough the WebIU?

There is no WebUI for the ASH47 it is a Smart Home camera. To be honest I was shocked to see it even offers the tour but as you can see in my second video I post in this thread there is a Tour that I did setup and it will follow it..

How you have to access the camera is VIA the Camera directly to the ASP program setting up Presets will translate into the NVR's after the fact.. So with your NVR lets say you have it setup to go to Preset 4 when a Car enters your drive way then it will go there. Keep in mind that there is no return home feature when you do this so you have to have some format either another camera that can make the ASH47 return to a home Position..

Like this Back some time ago. i had a camera that was static, When it got a hit on the IVS it would tell my NVR to send preset to camera and then the camera would go to that preset then with another camera static at another location it would get an alert and used that one to put the camera back at what I call home position. Now when it comes to real Amcrest PTZ cameras like the 850, 853, 846, 858, 863, 1053 and others like kind if a NVR has a Preset tell one of them cameras to go to a preset and the person setup a Home position in them cameras it would return to home after a set time.

Thanks man, I'm completely lost now and I was thinking I was getting it. Okay, so how do I get ASP to communicate with the ASH 47 directly and not through the NVR?

YOu guys really do need to make the timer on this board longer, as I just got done writing stright no breaks and I hit submit and it didn't save it.

Ok here is a Video on how to do that.. I setup as you may have seen in another video a Tour on Position 1 so this time I setup another one using 2 and show how in this Video. For some reason youtube is going slow right now and the video was still in making sure I didn't have something bad in it lol However the video can be found here. At this time if it is ready might only be a Low Def version as the High Def comes after the fact..

Sorry about the forum. It does the same thing to me so I know the feeling. I don't have access or control over that part of the forum. If I did it would be fixed and working better then it does at times. To be Honest it might just need a Server reboot as things go along in time things act up after things really fail the Webmaster for the forum does something that makes it work ok for a month or 2 before it starts to act up again. Out side of that sometimes if I hit the back button my text will be there and I copy it refresh the page paste it and submit and that works sometimes. However will admit that others not so lucky and yeah don't want to try and type it all over again lol

Yeah wish you luck with it. I have some other brand cameras and only a select few work well with my Amcrest NVR's. I have a Hikvision OEM that is a mess and don't play well, yet another one works great even able to change motion grid data using the Amcrest NVR. Then have some that has not effect with motion and them cameras have to record full time or nothing will record. It's hit and miss. TBH it's best to use Amcrest or Dahua types for best results.
